Review "Ethics and Survey Research," in the Topic 5 Resource, located in Topic 5 Resources. Then find a scholarly peer-reviewed journal article from the library that uses a survey to gather quantitative data (Descriptive, Correlational, Causal-Comparative/Quasi-Experimental, and Experimental Research).
In 500-750 words, analyze the survey. Include the following in your analysis:
- Summarize the study being conducted, including the purpose of the study.
- Describe the survey and what it was designed to measure.
- Describe what types of demographic data were collected.
- Describe the types of scales that were used (Likert, Rating, Ranking, etc.).
- Describe the validity and reliability of the survey instrument.
- Were there any confounding effects of extraneous variables?
- Describe the ethical standards that are being considered in the survey respect for persons, beneficence, justice, respect for communities (i.e., Belmont Principles).
- Use two to four scholarly resources to support your explanations.
