It has to be a Canadian Company.
A. Background of company- briefly describe the nature of the business (eg., Suncor is an oil and gas company). What policies do they have in place, related to ethics. Include what you know about the company's culture, corporate governance, etc.
B. Describe the ethical dilemma that the company faced, with analysis of why it was an ethical dilemma.
C. Describe what the company did to address the ethical dilemma, and why you think they proceeded in that manner (ie., shareholder/stakeholder primacy)
D. Describe what the outcome was of the company's actions and decisions, resulting public opinion, consequences (eg., firing, fines, charges, penalties), and any subsequent changes to policies / corporate governance / business procedures.
E. Analyze what you think the company did right and wrong in handling the dilemma, and describe how and in what ways your group would have handled the ethical dilemma differently.
These following companies can't be chosen as a Canadian company:
SNC Lavalin, Rogers, Reitman's, Maple Leaf Foods, Lululemon, Tim Horton's, Barrick Gold, Loblaws.
