1. In the case you selected, was the subject tried as an adult or as a juvenile? How was the status determined? Do you agree with this decision? Why, or why not?
2. Did the defendant receive rehabilitation or punishment? Describe their resulting circumstances in detail. Was their treatment/punishment effective? What were the results?
3. Given the details, if you were the parole officer working the case, what outcome would you have suggested? What specific details of the case lead you to this decision?
4. In your opinion, was the accused a victim of circumstance, or did he make a deliberate choice to follow a criminal path? Give specific examples to back your claim.
