Political Science is ubiquitous. Write an essay that discusses how government, politics, and public policy affect a career area you are considering as a long term goal, following this format:
Section 1: Introduce the career area in terms of the nature of the profession.
Section 2: Describe the working conditions of employees in the field.
Section 3: Discuss the training, and qualifications needed for employment in this profession.
Section 4: Analyze the job outlook, earnings, and advancement opportunities.
Section 5: Identify two interest groups that promote the interests of the professionals in this field.
Section 6: Discuss at least two political issues that these interest groups are monitoring, including their positions on the issue.
Section 7: Conclude with an assessment of what you have gained in terms of knowledge as a result of this assignment.
