Having read "Rhetorical Foundations," use the concepts described in that chapter to help you formulate your post. Watch a political advertisement. You can find one on your own doing a browser search. Identify the commercial you are evaluating. Describe the rhetorical situation. There are several elements described in the chapter that comprise this situation. Describe the use of ethos, pathos, logos, and kairos. What is the goal of technical writing, and what role does rhetorical situation play in achieving this goal?
