Group Foundation and Goals
Using the following outline below, can you propose a group of your choice. Use references to support the theoretical underpinnings and other areas as relevant.
A. Title of the group.
B. Description or focus of the group: Describe the focus and goals of the group. Also, identify the type of group you are proposing (support, process, psychoeducational, et cetera).
C. Type of participants or population: Describe the types of participants who will be most appropriate for the group. Specify age, gender, problem area, and so on.
D. Time frame: Establish whether it will meet weekly, biweekly, or at other intervals as well as how long each session will be.
E. Theoretical underpinnings: Describe the theoretical foundations of the group.
F Primary interventions and activities: Describe a few of the interventions or activities you will use in the group.
