Problem: Aphra Behn's description of the things is very interesting. There are three groups of people in this story: natives, slaves, and whites. The natives come from and live in Suriname but are not slaves - their initial description is not how she describes them later in the text. Then she discusses and describes the slaves who come from Africa. Finally, she talks about and introduces the European whites who are generally in control of the slaves and the wealth. How does her description of each group shift and changes and what does that tell us?
