Homework: Literature Search, Rapid Critical Appraisal, and Summarization
PICOT question: In patients diagnosed with a panic disorder, how does a combined therapy of SSRIs and cognitive behavioral therapy compare to SSRIs alone with patient satisfaction in treatment of panic disorders over a span of 9 months?
For this homework, you will locate a minimum of 4 research articles related to the topic and PICOT question that you developed. The articles must be current (2002 to the present), and two articles must be quantitative, and two articles must be qualitative. These articles should be somewhat related to your PICOT question.
o Articles used for one homework can't be used for the other homeworks(students should find new research articles for each homework).
o The selected articles should be original research articles. Review articles, meta-analysis, meta-synthesis, and systemic review should not be used.
o Mixed-methods studies should not be used.
There are two parts to this homework.
Part 1: Complete a Rapid Critical Appraisal Checklist chart for each research article (4 total).Download the following files in the Worksheets,

Part II: Write a summary (2 to 3 pages)
o Describe the similarities and differences among the four research articles.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
