Task
Submit a 1 to 2 page paper in which you:
i. Briefly describe the setting where the intervention/treatment plan was conducted which is in the case of Joan document along with the goals set. The setting is AT Veteran Resilience Project, in Elaine's office which is located at her home as her basement is where she runs Veteran Resilience Project. Her office has a homie feeling, a fireplace, lots of books, and beautiful landscape photos on the wall.
ii. Briefly discuss how you used the literature to guide your practice (i.e. actual use of the treatment/intervention plan). Required reading to help with EMDR Therapy and the Steps of EMDR Therapy
iii. Briefly summarize the experience of actually watching Elaine perform EMDR Therapy with the client Joan and any emerging themes (i.e., anything in the literature that captured your attention or was repeated throughout) that were present during the intervention. She repeated by moving her fingers back and forth in front of Joan's face and ask her to follow them and tell her to stop when she was ready to say something about the event, her feelings, her thoughts.
