Visit the Recalls and Alerts website from the Department of Agriculture. Current Recalls and Alerts is a web site from the Department of Agriculture. Go to this site and pick a recalled item. Describe the item and a summary of the reason for the recall. Then describe the risk level and class. Explain the reason for the recall (under cooking, ecoli threat, or others) and discuss if your thoughts about the recall and the impact upon that food or beverage indicated in the recall? Finally, go find a web site that represents the company who produced that recall. Do they say anything about this recall? If so, what? Was it sufficient to protect the public?
