Homework: Practicum Journal Entry- Analyzing an Ethical Decision
To prepare:
i. Review literature for moral/ethical issues encountered by a PMHNP.
ii. Select one of the articles you found that was published within the last 5 years to use as a focus for this homework.
Write a 2 pages paper in which you do the following:
i. Summarize the moral/ethical issue in the article (no more than 1 paragraph).
ii. Describe the moral and ethical dilemmas surrounding the issue.
iii. Analyze the ethical issue and compare them to the state health laws and regulations in your state.
iv. Outline the process of ethical decision making you would use to address this ethical dilemma.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
