Discussion Post: Job Evaluation
a) Describe the methods of job evaluation. Which method would you prefer to use and I why?
b) Read about Person-Based Structures. Compare and contrast job-based, skill-based and competency-based pay structures. Do you feel that one approach is better than the others? Does it depend on the organization? Give some examples.
c) Give an example of an internal pay structure that does not align with an organization's business strategy. What would you recommend if you were the Compensation Manager?
