Read the Bachman textbook, the Mosher textbook, and the website article "Evidence-Based Policing" before discussing the following prompts:
1. Describe the major elements of evidence-based policing.
2. How do the elements relate to research in criminal justice?
3. In what areas is evidence-based policing already being used?
4. What are the steps you would take to convince a department not using evidence-based policing to use it?
Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to write a thread in response to the provided prompt for each forum. Each thread must be 250 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge.
