Problem: Sanya is a single mother who left her 2 children with a babysitter who abruptly left the children unattended. The kids were reported to social worker wandering outside their building complex unsupervised. Sanya had one reported incident prior that she left her 2 children by themselves. When a social worker arrives, she meets a neighbor who offers to watch the children until Sanya gets back. Sanya arrives back home after and tells the social worker she had hired a babysitter this time and that the babysitter did not inform her that she was leaving.
What would be your approach, or frame, if you were working with Sanya from a liberal feminist perspective?
Or a radical feminist?
Or a socialist feminist?
How would you use some of the practice principles as you worked with Sanya?
