Overview
This module reviews the key information systems management issues in U.S.-based multinational service and manufacturing firms. It also presents some differences between manufacuring firms with low and high internation involvement. It also presents the ideas drawn from previous internation IS management research.
Objectives
After completing this module, students will be able to:
1. Describe the issues facing international IS managers in service and manufacturing firms
2. Identify the important issues in manufacturing firms with low and high international involvement
3. Explain the reasons for the importance of the issues facing international IS managers
4. Describe the important issues in IS management discussed in the module content from previous international and domestic IS management studies
