You have a new employee who is dedicated, talented, smart, and skilled. The one thing she lacks is self-esteem. She doubts herself at every step and sabotages her success. In particular, she has a difficult time giving presentations. She believes that you made a mistake in hiring her and she is waiting for you to fire her. Describe the three main characteristics of a self-concept, and using the above example, describe the four steps you could take to ensure that your new employee developed a stronger and more accurate self-concept.
