Problem:
There are currently many examples, at both large and small scales, of efforts to restore natural communities that have been influenced by human activities. These efforts could include prairie restoration efforts in the Midwest, removal of dams to restore natural flows to river systems, or re-introduction of keystone species to areas where they had been eliminated. There are many examples. Including information provided in the textbook readings and online videos, as well as other examples you may discover through your own internet research, share one example of such a situation that you find interesting. So that the class can benefit from a variety of examples, do not post an example that has already been submitted.
