In your course textbook, read Case 6-1, Big Data: "Number One with a Bullet" in the Music Industry, on pages 174-175 to learn how the music industry is gathering and leveraging big data to remain successful. Also review the entrepreneurial spotlight on Daniel Ek, Spotify's founder, on page 192. Then, identify at least three types of marketing research or data sources Spotify might use to help it expand successfully into more countries (ahead of Apple Music). For each, describe the earnings Spotify might gain and how those findings would help the company.
