Question 3) List and describe the one element of composition within the frame: implied proximity to the camera, or depth, or camera angle and height, or camera movement.
Question 4) Give a definition of CGI. List and briefly describe pre-CGI special effects.
Question 5) Describe any shot in The Lives of Others by identifying its
- length (ex.: 1:12:23-1:12:35)
- scale (ex.: LS, MS, CU..., if the scale changes within your shot - identify the change, ex. MS --> CU),
- depth (ex.: deep focus, shallow focus, if the depth changes - identify the change),
- camera angle (ex.: low, high, if the angle changes - identify the change)
- camera height/level of framing (ex.: high, low, if the height/level changes - identify the change)
- the nature of camera movement (ex.: pan, tilt, dolly, zoom, crane, handheld, Steadicam) and special effects, if any.
