Describe the conditions that will assess your hypotheses

Problem

Whether amnesic people display reduced positive and negative priming and does this indicates that MTL-mediated learning during priming can increase or decrease control demands.

When developing a study using this research question. How can I use a series of experiment that determines the effects of various forms of priming (e.g., positive, negative, and neutral) on participants' memory performance and control demands that includes individuals with varying degrees of amnesia (mild, moderate, and severe).

A. Participants - describe the characteristics of your study population and recruitment procedure.

B. Experimental Design - describe the conditions that will assess your hypotheses.

C. Materials and Stimuli - specify any relevant equipment that will be used to carry out the study; describe the stimuli that will be used across conditions of the task.

D. Procedure - describe how the task will be administered and what the participants will be instructed to do.

E. Dependent Measures - Indicate what will be measured to test your hypotheses (e.g., response time, pupil dilation, bold signal).
