To help educate families and fellow early childhood professionals, create a flyer or infographic on the importance of and strategies to support healthy brain development for children birth to age 3.
• Step I: Research and Key Findings
o Conduct research (using course resources, library, and credible internet research) on the following influences on brain development:
o Culture and environmental factors
o Early risk factors for infant and toddler
o Importance of experiences to brain development
o Determine key findings to incorporate into your flyer or infographic.
• Step II: Create a flyer or infographic
o Describe 5 strategies that can be implemented to support healthy brain development and early learning for children from birth to age 3. Be sure to include at least one strategy for each of the influences above.
o Provide 3 resources, from your research, on supporting healthy brain development that could be shared with families. Include a brief explanation of how they could be used to educate families and needed identifying information for access (ex: title, author, and link).
o Uses professional language, attribution for the three credible resources provided, accurate spelling, and grammar in the flyer or infographic. APA format for the references is not required but always encouraged.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
