Your local community health department is creating a series of pre-recorded webinars to help older adults (65+) decrease socioeconomic and environmental barriers to health and wellness. You have been asked to create a 5-10- minute Internet-based video as part of this series.
Instructions:
First, do your background research. Locate at least 2 credible resources to answer the following questions:
- List one social barrier to optimal health and wellness in the aging population within your community.
- List one economic barrier to optimal health and wellness in the aging population within your community.
- List one environmental barrier to optimal health and wellness in the aging population within your community.
- For each barrier, list two possible community-relevant solutions or resources you would like to share with the audience.
Next, create a 5-10-minute video to share the key points from your above research with your audience.
Here are the technical steps to create your presentation:
1. Create a PowerPoint (or similar visual representation) of your content. This should begin with a title slide, followed by 5-10 content slides, then close with an APA formatted reference list.
2. Add a voiceover. Stay within the 5-10-minute range, focusing on the most relevant points for your audience.
