Problem:
Social psychologists have found that one method of reducing discrimination between diverse groups is to join members from diverse groups into task-focused teams with a common goal. Unfortunately, there are few social institutions actually devoted to desegregation in our society today. Using the Internet or your library's search engines, evaluate the evidence that suggests that public schools are more highly segregated today than they were ten years ago. What steps would you take to develop social institutions that would increase social interactions between races and ethnicities? How effective do you think these efforts would be in helping to erode prejudice and bias? Be sure to use multiple examples to support your ideas as well as scholarly research. Be sure to also meet the criteria as outlined above for your second paper.
