Describe process of sorting analyzing and extracting data

Problem

I. Data mining- Data mining describes the process of sorting, analyzing, and extracting meaningful data from large data sets in hopes of identifying patterns or relationships useful to solve business problems (Sarker et al., 2020).

II. Data warehousing- Data warehousing is a data management system used and designed to store massive datasets. These data sets are mined to support business intelligence, including analytics.

III. Data analytics- Data analytics is the process of examining data sets to find trends, patterns, or relationships applicable to business intelligence and to better drive business decision-making (Mikalef et al., 2020).

IV. In short, the three terms are far more different than similar terms. Data mining is the action data analysts are performing when they are seeking analytics. This analysis is completed within a data warehouse, or data management system. Typically, data management is achieved in an SQL-based system like MySQL, Database Management Studio, or similar. My current employer uses Microsoft Database Management Studio, a free SQL-based data management platform to bridge the gap between Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerBI.
