This paper presents is a case study analysis of the Mobile services organization that I work for and addresses numerous aspects relating to employee relations, performance, and business operation. The main elements discussed within the paper are highlighted below:
Part 1:
Discuss in detail the organization's employee relations strategies. The following steps have been identified and discussed within the paper:
1. The organization's employee relations strategies and a description of how they are consistent with the organization's strategic objectives
2. Risk management analysis of the organization's current approach to employee relations and aspects of current policies that would benefit from a revision.
3. Develop or revise 2 policies to incorporate your findings from Part1b above. Describe how your policies promote EEO & the absence of discrimination and harassment
4. Focus on one employee group or one area of the business and develop risk management strategies that address the withdrawal of labor or other potential outcomes of disputes in this area of the business
5. Describe potential areas of conflict across the business and discuss how employee relations strategies and policies take account of the objectives for each of these groups
6. Building and maintaining a productive culture. Negotiating the employment contract for a new staff member
Part 2:
Discuss Induction and training as it relates to newly recruited staff members.
Part 3:
Discuss performance planning techniques that must be followed in order to maximize employee and organizations excellence.
Part 4:
Identify and discuss the steps that must be followed in order achieve successful organization's recruitment and retention policies and strategies.
