Assignment
Conduct primary research for a local hospital so that you can gather the information necessary to create a new program to offer therapy dogs for patients. You will be presenting your findings and an analysis to a hospital's executive management team in the form of a three-page single-spaced written analysis.
1. Describe objects of the observation study and what you are studying.
2. Describe the advantages and disadvantages of using an observation study to gather information for a therapy-dogs program.
3. Assess ethical and negative impacts from this study.
4. Provide an overview of the focus group discussion guide. You are simply describing the guide that you would create. Persuade management stakeholders that this is the right approach.
5. Advantages and disadvantages to conducting a research via a telephone interview.
6. Prepare and discuss the screening criteria.
