PERSONAL CONNECTIONS:
In every life there is a moment (or perhaps many moments) that change the direction of our lives and of the way we thought things we're going to turn out. This is a theme that we have seen discussed in many of the readings we have looked at throughout the course.
Using two or more examples from your own life, describe a "moment" from your life (or the life of a friend, teacher, parent, roommate, etc) that has fundamentally changed you/he/she. Compare your personal experiences to at least ONE of the stories listed below and explain how that "moment" (cited example) had a similar impact on the narrator:
a) "Black Men in Public Spaces"
b) "The Veil"
c) "Growing Up Native"
d) "The Clan of One-Breasted Women".
