• Imagine that it is your job to recruit volunteers for a political party. Ideally, you would like volunteers to go door knocking (go door-to-door advocating for a candidate) for one 4-hour shift. Describe how you would use each of the four compliance techniques described in class to convince people take a shift.
• Some people claim that university campuses provide excellent opportunities for positive intergroup contact which can ultimately reduce racial prejudice. Do you think so? Describe how life on campus meets or fails to meet the ideal conditions for positive intergroup contact.
