Assignment task: In a Power Point Posterboard, describe how as a nurse you will work collaboratively with patients, families, and other health care workers from different professional backgrounds.
Include the following six competencies that are required for collaborative, high quality, patient-centered care in a complex healthcare environment: Teamwork; Roles and Responsibilities; Communication; Learning and Reflection; Patient/Client Role in Collaboration; and Ethics and Attitudes.
The Posterboard should contain a box or a section for each of the six broad themes and a scholarly definition for each. The definitions should be retrieved from the textbook or the literature, and should have a corresponding in-text citation for each.
After defining each of the six themes, you must then also include clarifying information, bullets, and/or examples for each one that describes/illustrates how this would apply to your practice as a nurse.
Examples and illustrations of each of the themes can be obtained in the textbook, literature, QSEN competencies, the WHO, and other sources. Use in-text citation to cite your sources.
To make your Posterboard more visually appealing, you can add graphics and other illustrations.
