2. Technology

A. Technology Evaluation: Describe the process that HR uses to evaluate technology to support their needs. i. Describe the criteria for selecting human resource information systems (HRIS) for neeting organizational needs. ii. Discuss how a new employee might contribute to the selection process.

B. Diversity and Accessibility: Discuss how recruitment and engagement technology and tools can assist with diversity and accessibility for employees or potential employees.

C. Automated Processes: Explain how automated processes can impact a business. i. Describe how automated workflows can affect training, recruitment, and other HR functions.

D. Technology Example-Social Media: Describe how use of social media can increase employee engagement and improve retention. i. Consider ways that different types of social media resources can be used when hiring or communicating employee initiatives. ii. Give examples of appropriate social media channels that can be used in the workplace.
