Describe eukaryotic energy metabolic cellular structures

Assignment task: Eukaryotic cells have a lot of membrane-bound organelles (that means they are essentially little sacs made out of cellular membranes). These organelles each have specific structures and perform specific functions.  One set of organelles perform functions associated with energy acquisition and utilization (collectively called energy metabolism).  Three of those energy metabolism-related eukaryotic organelles are: (1) mitochondria; (2) chloroplasts; (3) lysosomes.

A. Describe the structural make-up of each of those three eukaryotic energy metabolic cellular structures.

B. Describe the function(s) of each of those three eukaryotic energy metabolic cellular structures.
