Assignment Task: Do you agree or disagree and why?
Organizational development in today's organizations is ever present and a necessity for organizations to thrive. Organizational development essentially means using a planned out method to implement necessary change to reach the next level to maintain success in an organization (Rohland, 2023). Organizational development is essentially self explanatory, meaning that the processes and plans carried out are done so in order to boost the organization and make sure that said organization keeps up with changing trends. In addition, by using a thoughtful and planned out method an organization can keep track of how well the implementation is working, as well as how effect the change that it brings is (Rohland, 2023). This can be seen through real world applications in very successful organizations. For instance, the current organization that I work for has just completed both a massive Emergency Room remodel and addition, as well as a very pricy MRI equipment upgrade both completed at the end of 2022. These changes were implemented to meet not only the current patient care needs of the facility, but to also plan for future success, as the ER and MRI both received state of the art equipment which allows them to perform more advanced diagnostic testing and advanced procedures.
