From this perspective, consider whether there is a shortage of healthcare workers in your organization. Consider the following: Is there an excess of employees who are less-than-average performers? Is there a shortage of employees with appropriate skills (clinical and relational) to meet the contemporary needs of the organization? What are the missing skills?
