For this homework you will be completing an assessment and presenting it as a PowerPoint presentation to your fictional local city/town council. This assessment will be used to inform the council on a strategic approach to community planning.
First, select a type of assessment (Community Health Assessment, Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and Disaster Impact Assessment).
Address the following issues in your PowerPoint presentation.
1. What sector of recovery does the assessment address?
2. Describe any threats associated with the assessment sector.
3. What needs, assets, and capacities of the community may be required?
4. Identify any gaps or shortcomings in capabilities, resources or possible recovery actions.
5. Prioritize any concerns developed from your assessment.
