Introduction:
The literature is replete with information that HIS are complex and that healthcare is a complex system. However, implementation of HIS creates simplicity out of the complex structures and processes in our clinical and business management.
Tasks:
o Describe what HIS architecture is and why healthcare administrators need to understand HIT/HIS architecture.
o Discuss the architecture of enterprise hospital information system (EHIS) and explore its advantages and disadvantages.
o Describe and discuss how HIS architecture can be analyzed.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
