describe about absolute values when an integer is

Describe about Absolute Values ?

When an integer is written with a vertical line on each side of the integer, it is called the absolute value of that integer.
For example,

|3|is read as "the absolute value of three."
|-3| is read as "the absolute value of negative three."

To take the absolute value of any integer, you drop the sign. Here are some examples of absolute values:

|3| = 3
|+3| = 3
|-3| = 3
The first example is read as "the absolute value of 3 is 3."
The second example is read as "the absolute value of positive 3 is 3."
The third example is read as "the absolute value of negative 3 is 3."
