The following questions are some you might encounter during a job interview. Imagine that you're interviewing for a position in the career field for which you're pursuing your degree. Compose your own answers to the following interview questions using the guidance suggested in the Week 4 Lecture (page 9); keep in mind that this is not a personal interview, it's a job interview.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Name one quality a friend or someone you know has, that you wish you had, and explain how having that quality would make you a more valuable employee in the position for which you're interviewing.
- Describe a time when you had to deal with criticism of your job performance from an employer or manager (not customer or other employee) in a workplace and how you reacted (this could be from any job you've ever held). If you've never had a job, think of a teacher's criticism of your school work and how you reacted.
- What three adjectives best describe you and why?
