Problem
In Shakespeare's Macbeth, appearance vs reality is a theme that is seen throughout the play. In Act 1, Shakespeare sets up this idea with the famous quote "False heart doth hide what false heart doth know," and this idea builds throughout the play. Describe a time when someone wasn't honest with you and caused you to feel mistrust toward him/her. What were the effects of those lies... that mistrust? Did the truth eventually surface?
