You have just participated in your first Standardized Participant interview in nursing school, were are some of the initial thoughts and feelings that come to mind? Describe a therapeutic communication technique that had a positive impact on the patient. What was the technique? What was the impact? Based on your observations give an example of something you would do differently next time. Knowing you will have another SP interview and will be interviewing patients during clinical later this semester, what is something you will bring into your future practice as nursing student?
