This is a writing problem on applying what we're learning about intellectually productive disagreements to a personal experience you had when disagreeing with someone.
This reflection is a short writing problem.
• Describe a disagreement from your own life that you have had with someone that you feel was not intellectually productive. What was the topic of the disagreement? What happened in the disagreement? What did you say or do in the disagreement?
• Reflect on this disagreement now that we have read and discussed the readings "How to Disagree" and "Is There a Better Way to Have an Argument?" What do you think made this disagreement unproductive? What do you think you could have done differently to make a more intellectually productive disagreement? Aim to bring up factors from those readings in your analysis of the disagreement.
