1) Choose a building which can be small. Set the temperature and flow rate of water supply.
2) Choose a location of the building.
3) Find weather data if available.
4) Calculate the solar energy available at the site of the system (for method see lecture notes).
5) Design the solar collector (for method see lecture notes).
6) Design the system (schematic drawing).
7) Select the pumps, valves, pipes etc.
8) Design the water tanks.
9) Control system (optional)
