Problem
A. Demonstrate an understanding of the social construction of gender and sexuality (as well as the pervading use of stereotypes in America to portray these).
B. Demonstrate an understanding of gender role socialization, gender norms, the diversity of sexual orientation, and/or the socialization of homophobia and heterosexism in America.
C. Demonstrate an understanding of how students might improve their own attitudes and behaviors with regard to gender socialization and/or gender identity --and sexuality and/or sexual orientation.
D. Demonstrate an understanding of the ways in which gender and sexuality are both central organizing principles of social life that affect life chances.
