STUDENT GUIDE TO P1, P2,M1,D1 : Explore and illustrate the range of venture types that might be considered entrepreneurial.
Since it's a report, I suggest that you develop a table of contents, highlighting all the main chapters you have discussed
P1
• Define what is an entrepreneur and entrepreneurship.
• Student must examine different types of entrepreneurship ( social, trading etc) along with different types of entrepreneur ventures (partnership, sole proprietor etc)
• In the examination, highlight the background of the companies ( briefly)
• Ensure that at least one of your examples are local and one global for both sections.
• On the issue of typology, attempt to align a venture with various types of entrepreneurship and vice versa. For example, a sole proprietor can be a trading manufacturer and a social entrepreneur can also form a partnership which can be limited or unlimited.
P2
• Explore similarities and differences and do so in the context of the environment (PESTEL. Here comparison can be explored in the context of the environment with types of ventures. For example, inflation which is an economic factor, is likely to impact the sole proprietor in a more severe manner as compared to a LLC and so on.
M1.
• Expand your scope by reviewing other entrepreneurial examples, particularly in the public and corporate sectors. Students should use this platform to describe and compare entrepreneurship in a wider context. For example men vs women entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs in franchises, small scale vs large scale entrepreneurs and so on.
• Students can highlight the use of videos, or questionnaire responses provide by an entrepreneur in the real world. Students are encouraged to conduct an interview which will allow us to compare theory with practice.
Some questions for the interview might be :
- When was the idea envisaged?
- When was the firm established?
- What were some of your challenges?
- How did you overcome them?
- What are the key attributes for you that will make a successful entrepreneur?
- What future opportunities and challenges you see for entrepreneurs in the future?
- How can entrepreneurs maximize the use of technology and AI to enhance their content ?
D1
• This question requires students to highlight the growth and development of entrepreneurship generally and can also explore the growth and development for each type of entrepreneur and venture mentioned.
• Students should look at global trends and their impact on growth and development. For example, online shopping and a smarter consumer is common place in today's business.
• Student should discuss current changes that entrepreneurs will face or are likely to face in some ventures - for example, artificial intelligence and sustainability issues.
• Students should explore new opportunities like digital money ventures ( bit coin, blogging etc) and their impact on ventures and even types of entrepreneurs.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
