Problem
The international system is often seen as a threatening and dangerous place. Yet, different theoretical approaches offer very different perspectives on how states and societies perceive what a threat is. Compare and contrast how a Realist might define threats with how a Poststructuralist or Constructivist might. Use some concrete real-world examples (for example the Ukraine, Taiwan, immigration from Muslim countries, global warming, etc.).
