Define Thermodynamics
Thermodynamics is the science which deals with the conversion of heat into mechanical energy. It is relies upon observations of general experience, which have been formulated into thermodynamic laws.
These laws administrate the principles of energy conversion. The applications of the thermodynamic laws and principles are found in all branch of energy technology, particularly in steam and nuclear power plants, gas turbines, compressors, chemical process plants, air conditioning, internal combustion engines, refrigeration, gas dynamics, jet propulsion, and direct energy conversion devices.
