Scenario:Types of Goals and Kinds of Plans
Usually top executives define the organization's strategy, which involves setting goals and developing plans to achieve the goals. When goals are set too high it might affect the team morale resulting in potentially questioning their potential and ability reaching the goal. To address the disconnect it's most effective if managers at all levels are involved in setting specific goals and developing specific plans for their subordinates in a way that is specific for their area and also align with the goals and plans of the levels above.
Have you been involved in goal planning at your organization? Were the goals met?
