Define Genetics
Eukaryotic cells is able to divide by mitosis or meiosis. In humans mitosis yields new cells for growth and repair. And meiosis yields sex cells (gametes), called sperm as well as eggs. Changes or else mutations in genes in sex cells can be inherited by human offspring. Genetic variation in a population of organisms is good but sometimes mutations can be harmful or cause genetic disorders.
Briefly answer the subsequent questions:
How do meiosis as well as sexual reproduction (fertilization) produce offspring that differ hereditarily from the parents?
