Part 1 Blog
Task
For each blog post, there is a Nominated Article in the Study and Tutorials guide (Refer to the Additional Readings section of the guide). You will write a reflective blog post after reading how this article has helped you to learn the week's topic.
Use the following titles when creating your blogs. For example, the blog title for Module 2 will be Organisational Design and the blog title for Module 6 will be Design for Process Management and so forth. It is very important that you use the correct titles for your blog posts otherwise BIM (explained later) does not automatically pick up your post for marking. It is advisable to copy the titles from the list below and paste them in your blog. Copy the title only (the part in 'red' not the rest)
Blog 1 : Organisational Design
Blog 2 : Design for Process Management
Blog 3 : Implementing Process Management
Blog 4 : What's the Risk?
Blog 5 : Aligning Processes to Strategy
Blog format
You will write your blog post in the format as described below.
- Synopsis - this is a summary of the content of the article (should be objective);
- Critique - how well you think the author or authors address the article topic (should be objective);
- Your reflection - how you think the article has assisted you in understanding the weekly course topic (can be subjective as you are discussing your own learning).
It is advisable to structure your blog post in three paragraphs: Synopsis, Critique and Reflection.
