The purpose of having you complete content analysis of a film in this course is to help you develop critical thinking skills and deepen your understanding of communication concepts in a real-world context. Analyzing a film can provide a rich source of examples and scenarios for you to explore and can help you understand how communication works in various interpersonal situations. By analyzing a film you can learn to identify communication patterns, themes, and messages, and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies used by characters in the film. In prior modules, you have already begun working toward completing this project. By now, you should have done the following by turning in the following previous modules' assignments:

- M05 Prep Step 1: In this step you chose the movie or film you decided to analyze and identified the type of project you want to complete.

- M06 Prep Step 2: In this step you wrote three paragraphs as rough drafts for the first half of this paper/project and listed at least one source you are using in the first half of the paper/project. You also prepared a reference citation for that source. This prep step got you started on Paragraphs 1-3 of the final paper/project.

- M07 Prep Step 3: In this step you wrote three paragraphs as rough drafts for the second half of this paper/project and listed at least one source you are using in the second half of the paper/project. You also prepared a reference citation for that source. This prep step got you started on Paragraphs 4-6 of the final paper/project.
