They also downplay research on pay and privatize health benefits. However, these organizations do not solve problems but rather contribute to them. They use political points of reference to influence future political results and are likely funded by political sources. In Oklahoma, two contrasting think tanks, one conservative and one liberal, influence the issue of Medicaid expansion. Both groups try to persuade people to a political bias, and information should be questioned and cross-checked for accuracy.
